San Marcos, Texas – The Texas State Athletics Department honored 24 student-athletes at its 2012 Spring “T” Ring Ceremony on Friday morning inside the End Zone Complex at Bobcat Stadium.
This spring's ring recipients include six football players, three women's soccer players, three women's track and field athletes, three baseball players, two men's track and field athletes, two softball players, two volleyball players, one women's golf player, one women's basketball player and one men's basketball player.

To receive the Texas State Ring, each of the 24 student-athletes must have completed their eligibility at Texas State in good standing, graduate within one year after their NCAA eligibility has been completed and earned a "T" letter from the Athletics Department.
University President Dr. Denise Trauth presented the rings to each of the student-athletes. She was joined by Dr. Larry Ties, Texas State athletics director and head coaches for each student-athlete.
