SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State baseball team will hold a walk-on tryout meeting for the 2026 season on Monday, Sept. 22. All who are interested in trying out for the Bobcats will meet int eh stands of Bobcat Ballpark at 4:30 p.m. that day.
 
TXST coaches will go over information regarding tryouts, including forms, equipment, etc., at the meeting.
 
Students interested in trying out must be a full-time student at Texas State and enrolled a minimum of 12 hours this semester.
 
In order to participate in the tryout, students must have all paperwork completed (links listed) and bring to the meeting. The paperwork must also include an updated physical (in the last 6 months), sickle cell testing results and a front and back copy of a participant's insurance card.
