2011: Earned CoSIDA Academic All-America Second Team accolades after receiving COSIDA Academic All-District First Team honors … voted to the ABCA All-South Central Region First Team at second base … selected to the All-Southland Conference First Team as a second baseman and Southland Conference All-Tournament Team … became the 19th Texas State student-athlete to be named the Southland Conference Baseball Student-Athlete of the Year … named the Southland Conference Hitter of the Week for the fourth week of the season ... had a 30 game hitting streak to begin the season, dating back to the last five games on 2010 ... finished the season with a .340 batting average, six home runs, 12 doubles, three triples, 62 runs scored, 37 RBIs and 20 stolen bases … his 62 runs scored and 20 stolen bases were both the fourth most in a single season at Texas State … set a new record for career runs scored during the season and finished the year with 183 career runs scored … had a two home run game against Northwestern State (4/23) in which he set career highs with five RBIs and four runs scored ... went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and one run scored against Missouri State (2/19) ... hit an inside-the-park home run against Houston (3/12) ... went 3-for-6 with a home run and double against Houston (3/13) … drafted in the 50th round of the MLB First Year Player Draft by the St. Louis Cardinals.

 

2010: Preseason All-Southland Conference First Team selection at outfield … earned Southland Conference All-Tournament Team honors … started 43 of the 47 games played in between second base and the outfield … hit .304 (51-for-168) for the season with an on-base percentage of .406 … tied for fourth on the team with 14 doubles … was successful in 7-of-8 stolen base attempts … one of the toughest Bobcats to strike out, finishing the season with just 10 strikeouts in 203 plate appearances … ended the year with 44 runs scored, 21 RBIs, two triples and one home run … took 25 walks throughout the season, the third most on the team … reached base on four of his five pinch hit at-bats … went 2-for-4 with a home run and a season-high four RBIs against Houston (2/21) … scored nine runs during the team’s final five games while posting a .529 batting average (9-for-17) during that span.

 

2009: Named Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American ... also earned Preseason All-American honors ... ended the 2009 season on the All-Southland Conference Second Team ... batted .359 with 84 hits, including a 12-game hitting streak ... collected a career-high four hits on three occasions ... of the 84 hits, 27 went for extra bases, including 10 home runs ... scored 77 runs to set the single-season record for Texas State and the Southland Conference ... had 38 RBIs with a .577 slugging percentage ... hit by pitch 18 times ... went 14-for-18 in stolen base attempts ... played and started in 55 games.

 

High School: Named District 9-4A Newcomer of the Year as a sophomore at Frisco High School ... followed the season as a unanimous All-District 9-4A First Team pick at shortstop ... capped his prep school career with the repeat honor, along with claiming district MVP honors ... led the district in all offensive categories: .422 batting average, eight doubles, three triples, six home runs and 21 RBIs ... concluded his senior season 29-of-30 in stolen base attempts for a three-year tally of 52-for-53.
