Sun Belt Championship Seeding
This year's Sun Belt Conference Championship will see all 11 women's teams compete in Foley, Alabama. Texas State will either be the #3 or #4 seed from the West in the tournament. The easiest scenario for the Bobcats is to win on Sunday and clinch the #3 seed. A draw or loss to ULM would see TXST have to wait until the result of the Little Rock/ULM match on Thursday for what seed they would be in the tournament.
Last Weekend
The Bobcats came back to defeat Little Rock 2-1 with both goals coming in the final 15 minutes.
Olivia Wright tied the contest with her first collegiate goal and
Mackenzie Smith netted the match-winner with just over two minutes left on the clock as she converted a penalty kick.
Beth Agee made one save against the Trojans to increase her season total to 61. She continues to lead the Sun Belt Conference and is tied for first in the nation with Syracuse's Lysianne Prouix. The Mansfield, Texas native also tied
Heather Martin for the third most saves by a Texas State freshman goalkeeper.
Scouting ULM
ULM is coming off a 2-0 loss at home last Sunday to Louisiana. The Warhawks have been shutout in three straight matches and five of their last six. After Sunday's match, they will play Little Rock on Thursday in a contest that was postponed from back in September.
