SAN MARCOS, Texas - The Bobcats continue to set historic marks in the national rankings, making the jump to No. 15 nationally, announced by the Intercollegiate Women's Soccer Organization and United Soccer Coaches in the Week Four Top 25 Coaches Poll.

The program entered the national rankings for the first time in program history in the week two coaches poll at No. 21, following historic wins over Texas A&M and then-No. 6 Baylor. Back-to-back shutouts over East Texas A&M and Texas Southern led to week three's No. 17 ranking, before Texas State topped Rice, 4-3, by way of a final minute game-winner from Victoria Meza after four second half goals led the team to tie its best start in program history (6-0-1) and on a six-game win streak.

Texas State remains the top-ranked program in the Pacific Region and the Pac-12 Conference's lone representative, while also holding the highest ranking among teams in the state of Texas.

The Bobcats look to extend its win streak on Thursday at former conference foe Louisiana and solidify its best start in program history. The match starts at 7:00 p.m. (CT), and the game will be streamed live on ESPN+.

The IWSOC DI Top 25 Coaches Poll, conducted in partnership with United Soccer Coaches, is voted on exclusively by Division I women's soccer coaches.The rankings are released each Tuesday throughout the regular season, beginning with the preseason edition and continuing through the final poll following the NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Championship. The poll serves as an indicator of week-to-week team status and carries no bearing on at-large selections for the NCAA Tournament.
