The Bobcats are coming off a series win over future Pac-12 Conference opponent Gonzaga over the weekend. Texas State won the opener and got eight shutout innings from
Jesus Tovar in the series clinching 5-0 win on Sunday.

Manny Salas leads the team with a .429 batting average with four of his nine hits being for extra bases. He has also scored six runs and driven in two.
Jaquae Stewart enters hitting .421 with a team leading two triples and has six RBI. Posting a team-high eight RBI and four stolen bases is
Dawson Park.

Jackson Cotton and
Chase Mora have hit a team best two home runs. Mora has driven in seven runs and Cotton has brought home five.

Scheduled to make his second straight midweek start is
Sam Hall. The redshirt junior allowed two runs in three hits last Tuesday at Baylor.

ABOUT UTSA
The Roadrunners are coming off a sweep of Dallas Baptist at home and are off to their best start in program history. Tuesday will be the team's first road game of the season and begins a stretch of playing 10 straight away from their friendly confines.

Three batters are hitting over .400 led by Josh Arquette at .500. He has posted a team-high 13 RBI and hit three doubles. Lane Haworth comes in batting .464 and Christian Hallmark ahs a .438 average with 10 RBI. Also having drive in 10 runs is Drew Detlefsen (.367 AVG).

Slated to take the rubber on Tuesday is Christian Okerholm. The right-hander sports a 1.80 ERA with four strikeouts in 5.0 innings of work spanning three relief outings.

SERIES VS. ROADRUNNERS
Texas State leads the all-time series 63-42 although UTSA has won the last three meetings. That includes a regular season sweep last season for just the second time ever. The 105 games played against the Roadrunners is the second most in Bobcat history between the series with Sam Houston (110 games) and UT Arlington (122 games).

When playing at home in the series, TXST is 32-18 all-time. The last victory at home was by a 14-13 score on Mar. 19, 2024.
