High School: Graduated from St. Pius X High School... Coached by Mike Evans and Matt Fox... Served as team captain his senior year... Tossed a complete game shutout with 10 strikeouts and only two hits allowed to send the  Panthers to the final four of the 2025 TAPPS Division I State Championship.

Personal: Son of John and Ronna Cotton... Has a younger brother, Mason... His dad, John, played 15 years of professional baseball in the minor and independent leagues and was on the 2000 United State Olympic Team that won the gold medal in Sydney, Australia... Born February 16, 2007.
