SAN MARCOS, Texas – Former Southland Conference foes will meet Thursday at the Bobcat Soccer Complex when Texas State (2-1-1) welcomes Stephen F. Austin (0-1-2) to town.
Fans can watch the contest on ESPN+ and live stats will also be available. Admission to the match and all home contests are free.

The Bobcats look to get back in the win column after playing to a 1-1 draw last Wednesday at Texas A&M and then falling on Sunday at home to Arizona State. Thursday's match is the second of four straight at home and the lone contest in a five-match span that isn't against a Power 4 program.
Scoring three goals apiece has been

Helen Alormenu. Also scoring multiple goals has been
Sadie Guzman with two while eight other players have scored one goal. Credited with two assists each is

In goal,
Brooklyn Escobar has started all four matches and enters the contest with a 2.07 GAA, 12 saves and a .667 save percentage.
Maude Rouanet has stopped four shots and has a 0.91 GAA in 99 minutes of action.

The Lady Jacks came back to salvage a 2-2 draw at fellow Sun Belt Conference member Arkansas State last Thursday. SFA also drew with Sam Houston in the season opener and fell on the road to Tulsa by a score of 3-2.
Taylor Dodson leads the team with two goals while Brielle Buchanan has a team best two assists. Also finding the back of the net once has been Alexis Miller, Ally Weir and Buchanan.
Both Makenna Garcia and Sierra McCluer have played 135 minutes and sport a 2.00 GAA between the posts. Garcia, a Louisiana transfer, has made 10 saves with a .769 save percentage. McCluer has a .500 save percentage having made three stops.
Series History
SFA leads the all-time series 14-12-2 having won four straight and eight of the last 10 meetings. Last time Texas State claimed a victory in the series was a 4-0 contest on the road on Sept. 13, 2015.
When hosting the Lady Jacks, the Bobcats are 8-5-0 all-time. Last win for TXST at home was a 1-0 overtime contest on Oct. 23, 2009. It has been 22 years since Texas State defeated SFA at home in regulation. That day saw the Bobcats win 4-1.
