The Franklinton, La. native started the week going for 20 points, 12 rebounds, three blocks, two assists and two steals in a 94-80 win over Georgia State. He was 9-for-13 from the field and made both of his three-point attempts.

Pope followed by scoring a career-high 28 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and matched his career best of five blocks in helping leading a shorthanded Bobcat squad to an 85-82 overtime victory against Southern Miss. He made 8-of-20 shots, went 1-for-2 from beyond the arc and converted 11-of-14 free throw attempts including the game-tying free throw with 9.1 seconds remaining to send the game to overtime.

Pope is the second Bobcat to take home the weekly conference honor after Tyrel Morgan received the award on New Year's Eve.
