MBI Opponents
Of the seven other teams in the Myrtle Beach Invitational, the Bobcats have only faced one before with that being Portland. TXST has a 2-1 lead in the all-time series with the Pilots as the last meeting came in the Portland Classic in 2019 that the Bobcats won 91-68 behind 33 points form Nijal Pearson.
If Texas State faces Princeton on Friday, it would be the first time that the Bobcats have ever faced an Ivy League opponent.
