SAN MARCOS, Texas – The United Soccer Coaches announced its annual Team Academic award recipients last week that saw Texas State receive the honor for the 13th time in program history.
 
A total 494 women soccer teams posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the award for the 2022-23 academic year. The Bobcats posted a 3.27 GPA for the 2022-23 season.
 
United Soccer Coaches annually celebrates the academic achievements of teams whose student-athletes collecitvley demonstrate a commitment to excellence in their studies over the course of a full academic year.
