SAN MARCOS, Texas – A stretch of three straight games on the road comes to an end Saturday evening when Texas State (11-13, 4-7 Sun Belt) plays Troy (13-11, 5-6 Sun Belt) at 6 p.m. inside Trojan Arena.
The game will be streamed on ESPN+ and fans can also tune into KTSW 89.9 FM and the Varsity Sports Network app to listen to Clint Shields on the call.

The Bobcats look to end a two-game skid after falling by 19 at Louisiana on Thursday.
Mason Harrell made his return to the lineup after missing the last three and a half games, finishing with 10 points. Eight times TXST has won on the road to tie for the second most such victories in the Sun Belt Conference.
Harrell paces the team offensively at 15.9 ppg, 29 made three-pointers and an 83.7 free throw percentage. He is eighth in program history in scoring at 1,383 points and needs three more to surpass Kavin Gilder-Tilbury for seventh place.
Nighael Ceaser increased his scoring mark to 9.0 ppg after his third consecutive double-digit performance. He also has grabbed a team-high 6.9 rpg and is second with 16 blocks behind
Brandon Love's 20.
Tyrel Morgan is contributing 8.5 ppg and 5.4 rpg while
Nate Martin comes in netting 7.5 ppg on a team-high 48.0% from the field.
Leading TXST with 54 assists and 23 steals is
Drue Drinnon. Having started the last 10 games, freshman
Jordan Mason is contributing 8.7 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 1.5 apg and 1.2 spg in that span.
About Troy
The Trojans are also looking to end a losing streak on Saturday having lost three straight with the latest coming at the hands of conference co-leader Southern Miss on Thursday. At home, Troy is 7-3 this year with a 3-2 mark against league foes.
Christyon Eugene enters leading the squad at 11.9 ppg, 41.9 3FG% and 81.1 FT%. He is one of six players to have recorded at least 20 steals. Zay Williams is netting 11.5 ppg and pacing the team with 6.3 rpg, 23 blocks and a 54.3 shooting percentage. Also with a double-digit scoring mark is Aamer Muhammad at 10.7. The point guard has also dished out 65 assists and knocked down a team-high 49 three-pointers.
All-Time Series
Texas State holds a 9-7 lead in the all-time series after Troy won the first meeting 55-52 in San Marcos back on Dec. 31. Last season, the Bobcats won 66-62 on the road to close out the regular season. TXST is 4-2 all-time when facing the Trojans on their home court and have won the last three such meetings.
