SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Sun Belt Conference regular season wraps up this weekend with two games in Strahan Arena for the Texas State men's basketball team (13-16, 6-10 Sun Belt). First up is South Alabama (15-14, 8-8 Sun Belt) on Wednesday for a 7 p.m. tip.
The game will be streamed on ESPN+ with Brant Freeman and Suzanne Fox calling the action. Fans can also tune into KTSW 89.9 FM and the Varsity Sports Network app to listen to Clint Shields on the call.

The Bobcats wrapped up their road slate with a 78-75 win over Coastal Carolina to remain undefeated (5-0) against the Chanticleers in Conway, South Carolina.
Mason Harrell led all players with 22 points as he made 6-of-11 shots and all nine of his free throw attempts. His last two charity stripe attempts put the Bobcats ahead by three with 1.8 seconds to play.
Harrell increased his career point total to 1,469 at CCU. He is now within 100 points of matching Brandon Bush for fifth place in program history. The Midwest City, Oklahoma native also leads the team in made field goals (141), made three-pointers (37), made free throws (101), free throw percentage (86.3), assists (62) and steals (26).
Both
Nighael Ceaser and
Tyrel Morgan are putting up at least nine points a contest at 9.6 and 9.2, respectively. They are both first and second on the second in rebounding with Ceaser grabbing 6.4 rpg and Morgan right behind him at 6.3 rpg.
Nate Martin enters scoring 7.6 ppg on a team-high 49.6% shooting.
About South Alabama
Entering Wednesday, the Jaguars have won four straight and seven of their last eight. The lone loss in that span was at Troy by a score of 61-57 on Feb. 9. USA is 3-9 in true road games this season with a 2-5 mark against Sun Belt opponents.
Isaiah Moore comes in netting 18.2 ppg while shooting 53.4% from the field but has only made seven three-pointers. He is also dishing out 4.5 apg and recorded 34 steals. Kevin Samuel is nearly putting up a double-double a contest at 10.3 ppg and 9.0 rpg while blocking 69 shots.
Both Tyrel Jones (9.8) and Greg Parham II (9.5) are scoring at least nine points a game. From beyond the arc, Owen White is the top threat with 57 made treys. Judah Brown has knocked down 42 triples and Parham II come in having netted 43 three-pointers.
All-Time Series
Texas State leads the all-time series 10-4 including a 64-58 win in Mobile back on Jan. 7. The Bobcats have won all six meetings in Strahan Arena with the latest being a 55-52 win last year.
