SAN MARCOS, Texas – Looking to extend its winning streak to five matches, the Texas State soccer team (4-0-0) hosts Kansas City (0-3-1) on Thursday at the Bobcat Soccer Complex with a 7 p.m. kickoff.

Madi Goss,
Zoe Junior and
Bailey Peschel with two goals apiece. Credited with an assist has been
Addison Peters,
Haley Shaw,

Olivia Wright and Goss. Both Peschel and Wright have taken a team-high 11 shots.
Katelyn Chrisman has started three matches between the posts including the last two contests. She sports a 0.67 GAA with four saves.
Beth Agee made two saves and recorded a shutout in her lone appearance in goal this season.
About Kansas City
The Roos are coming off a weekend that saw them drop a road match at Creighton and fall to No. 19 St. Louis at home. KC dropped its season opener to Drake and played to a 1-1 draw against Tulsa. Thursday is the first of three straight road matches.
Finding the back of the net has been Madison Page and Lily Stedman with two and one goals, respectively. Assists have been credited to Caijah Anderson, Lily Hollis and Anna Jennings. The Roos have taken just 21 shots in their four matches but have placed 14 (66.7%) on frame.
Riley Moon comes in with a 3.33 GAA, 10 saves and a .565 save percentage having started three matches in goal. Mackenzie Caldwell got the start between the posts in the team's draw and made eight saves in her lone appearance of the year.

Thursday will be the first-ever meeting between the programs. It will be the first of two matches against first-time opponents this season with the other coming on Oct. 23 at Marshall.
