SAN MARCOS, Texas – After playing eight of its first 10 games on the road, the Texas State men's basketball team (6-4) begins a five-game homestand on Tuesday against Mary Hardin-Baylor (3-3). Tip is scheduled for 7 p.m. inside Strahan Arena.
The game will be streamed on ESPN+ with Brant Freeman and Suzanne Fox calling the action. Fans can also tune into KTSW 89.9 FM and the Varsity Sports Network app to listen to Clint Shields on the call.

Nighael Ceaser go for a double-double of a career-high 23 points and 11 rebounds in just his second game back from an injury.
Mason Harrell comes in averaging a team-high 18.3 points per game while
Tyrel Morgan is second at 10.4 ppg. Big men
Tuongthach Gatkek (1.6),
Brandon Love (1.4) and
Nate Martin (1.0) are all blocking at least one shot per contest.
Over the last three games,
Drue Drinnon has provided an offensive spark off the bench. The senior guard is putting up 10.7 ppg while shooting 64.7% from the field and 50.0% on three-point attempts in that span. He has also dished out 10 assists, recorded five steals and played 26 minutes in each of the games.

All six of the Crusaders six games have come on the road with the first three being in California and the next three contests being conference games in the state of Texas. Tuesday's matchup will be an exhibition game for UMHB.
Leading the way for the Cru is Josiah Johnson at 22.0 ppg. He has made 41.5% of his shots with a team-high 10 made three-pointers. He has also converted 54-of-63 (85.7%) free throw attempts and recorded a team best 18 steals. Ty Prince enters netting 16.7 ppg and grabbing a team-high 6.8 rpg. Also with a double-digit scoring mark is Luke Feely at 13.7 ppg.
All-Time Series
Texas State comes in with a 4-0 advantage in the all-time series. The last three meetings have all taken place in San Marcos with the most recent being on Nov. 25, 2020. That night saw the Bobcats win 98-59 as 10 players scored at least seven points and four reached double-figures. The only contest to not be played in San Marcos was the first on Nov. 29, 1980. The 94-46 TXST victory was contested in Brownwood, Texas on the campus of Howard Payne.
