"Our staff is super excited about this first group of players. They will add tons of pace, athleticism and talent to a core group of returners," said Holeman. She was recently called up to the full national team camp in preparation for friendly matches later this month.

"Lucia is a humble and hardworking person who loves soccer. She is disciplined, very coachable and a great teammate. She is good in 1v1 scenarios and a very strong shot stopper. I look forward to watching her progression." – Miguel Angel Alvarez, Goalkeepers Coach, RCD Espanyol

Holeman on Arcos: "Lucia is a goalkeeper with a lot of experience at a high level. The things that stand out about her are her positioning and shot stopping abilities. Her experience at the international level will allow her to transition to the college game quickly and put her in a position to compete for the No. 1 spot right away."

Mandi Boudreaux | Forward | Lumberton, Texas | Lumberton HS | Houston Dash Beaumont

Graduating from Lumberton High School this coming spring, Boudreaux was a first team all-region pick as a junior. Her freshman year saw her score 43 goals for the Raiders. That performance earned selection to the TASCO 4A All-State First Team and be named the District 20-4A Offensive MVP.

Boudreaux also competed on the Lumberton HS track team running the 100m and 200m dashes.

"What an amazing achievement this is for Mandi! I know how hard you've worked for this and I've very proud of your commitment to Texas State. You've accomplished your dream to play Division I college soccer and I know you're going to crush it scoring many goals too! Go show that killer left on the field and prove how hard work pays off. Texas State has gained an amazing person and competitor with much desire to win." – Mikey Olabarrieta, Girl's Director, Houston Dash Beaumont

Holeman on Boudreaux: "Mandi is someone who will come in and compete right away on our front line. She has a phenomenal left foot, excellent pace and the ability to score goals. She is good with her back to goal as well as facing up and running at defenders. I've had the opportunity to see her play for many years and I'm excited to see her produce at the next level."

Cauvais Deane | Defender | Ajax, Ontario, Canada | Notre Dame Secondary School | FC Durham Academy

Deane is a backline player hailing from Canada. She played club soccer for FC Durham Academy and will graduate from Notre Dame Secondary School. Along with soccer, Deane also competes in swimming and track & field for her high school.

Also playing Division I soccer from her family is her sister Cephana, who suited up for James Madison (2018), Jacksonville State (2019-21) and UT Tyler (2022).

"Cauvais is a well-rounded student-athlete that excels in the classroom, in our sport and within the team culture. Her skills and attributes allow her to advance to a Division I program to continue her development and to contribute to the program immediately." – Rich Hirst, FC Durham Academy Director of Technical and Business Operations

Holeman on Deane: "Cauvais is a high-level athlete with incredible pace. She is an outstanding center back who will make life difficult for opposing forwards. She can win and keep the ball and will fit in well on our backline. And she's not only a phenomenal athlete but has an incredible demeanor and personality to match. Can't wait to see her suit up in maroon and gold."

Fisher is a midfielder out of Orange, Texas and plays club soccer for the Houston Dash. She has been named the Orange Leader Soccer Athlete of the Year and to the Beaumont Enterprise Super Gold Soccer Team the past three years. This past Spring saw her be named to the TASCO All-Region Second Team and the District 20-4A Co-MVP after recording 45 goals and 20 assists.

As a sophomore, Fisher was chosen as the District 20-4A Offensive Player of the Year following a 19-goal, 17-assist campaign. That came a year after netting 22 goals and assisting on five others as a freshman to earn the district's Midfielder of the Year honor.

Fisher is also a three-time District 20-4A cross country individual champion and qualified for the state meet three times. She also competes in track, where the soon to be Bobcat is a two-time district champion in the mile and 3,200-meter distance. "Well done Annabelle on your commitment to Texas State! I'm extremely proud of this achievement and I can't wait to see you zig-zag through players to get goals and assists. I know you will kill it there because you represent hard work, dedication and such selflessness on and off the field. The coaching staff and team will love your charisma and dedication. I can't wait to see you play at the next level!" – Mikey Olabarrieta, Girl's Director, Houston Dash Beaumont

Holeman on Fisher: "Annabelle is an extremely fit and hardworking player. Her track and cross country background allow her to run for days. She is very good on the ball and exceptional in tight spaces. She can create off the dribble and go to goal as well as set up her teammates. Her commitment to improving and competitive drive will make for an exciting transition to the college game."

Her dad, Gus, played football at Stephen F. Austin.

"What I love about Halle is her desire to always want to get better. She always shows up ready to train or play. Halle is a strong back that can pressure players that hold the ball but can also face a defender and run by them with her speed." – Hugh Bradford, Director of Coaching, DFKC

Holeman on Garcia: "Halle is physical, strong and fast. Her pace and athleticism allow her to run past defenders on the attack and to shut down forwards while playing in back. She is a gifted athlete with the potential to come in and contribute right away. She is another player with high-level character, and we can't wait to see her put the Bobcat jersey on."

Anna Mae Holeman | Forward/Defender | Lumberton, Texas | Lumberton HS | Houston Dash Beaumont

"Congratulations Anna Mae for committing to play for Texas State! I know you will go blow past defenders with your envious rapidness and talent. Texas State gains a great player but an even better person because just like on the field, you will blow everyone away with how hard working and caring you are. Amazing job on accomplishing your dream of play for your dad!" - Mikey Olabarrieta, Girl's Director, Houston Dash Beaumont

Holeman on Holeman: "I'm really excited for this unique opportunity to coach Anna Mae at the college level. I know she is eager for the challenge and has been working hard to make the transition. Her speed and athleticism, combined with her relentless work rate, will give her the chance to compete right away. She can run at players and provide service from the flank or potentially play as an outside back who bombs forward. In addition to her abilities on the field, she has a fantastic personality that will be a wonderful addition to our team dynamic."
