SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State concludes its non-conference schedule with a match against UTEP at 1 p.m. on Friday at the Bobcat Tennis Complex.
 
SCOUTING TEXAS STATE
Juniors Rishona Israel-Lewis and Hana Kvapilova lead the Bobcats (4-4) with 5-4 and 5-3 records, respectively, in singles play this dual season. R. Israel-Lewis is 6-4 in her last 10 matches overall and Kvapilova is 2-0 when playing on the top singles court. The two are partners in doubles where they boast a 5-1 record this spring after suffering their first loss of the spring at Houston. They are 1-0 when playing against a nationally-ranked opponent. 
 
SCOUTING UTEP
The Miners (4-8, 0-2 CUSA) are coming off an 6-1 setback vs. Wyoming. UTEP is 1-3 on the road this year and 2-5 overall this season when playing away from the El Paso Tennis Club.
