SAN MARCOS, Texas— Texas State women's tennis will make its final road trip of the regular season this weekend, traveling to Jonesboro, Arkansas, for a pair of Sun Belt Conference matches.
The Bobcats are scheduled to face South Alabama at noon on Saturday, April 11, before taking on host Arkansas State at noon on Sunday, April 12.
Texas State (11-6) enters the weekend with momentum, having secured back-to-back conference victories over Louisiana and in-state rival UTSA, both by 4-2 scores.
The Bobcats were originally slated to host Tyler Junior College last weekend, but the match was postponed due to inclement weather. It has been rescheduled for April 18 at 10 a.m. at the Bobcat Tennis Complex.

South Alabama (11-4) enters the weekend with a strong overall record, including a 5-0 mark at home and a 5-3 record on the road. The Jaguars will face Arkansas State on Friday prior to Saturday's matchup with Texas State.
South Alabama has played one Sun Belt match this season, falling to Troy 4-1 on the road. Texas State also faced Troy earlier this season, dropping a narrow 4-3 decision.
The Jaguars lead the all-time series against the Bobcats 8-0, with the last meeting coming in 2022. Texas State will look to earn its first win in the series on Saturday.

Arkansas State (10-8) enters the weekend just above .500 and is coming off a 4-2 conference loss to Troy. The Red Wolves hold a 3-1 record at home this season.
