SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State baseball team returns home for a three-game series against Stephen F. Austin. The Bobcats (3-4) and Lumberjacks (0-7) will square off three times March 2-4 at Bobcat Ballpark.

TXST leads the all-time series 43-21 and has won each of the last four three-game series dating back to 2009. Each series ended with the maroon and gold on top two games to one. The Bobcats are 12-5 over SFA during that same span, which includes meetings in postseason conference tournament action.

The last time the two teams met was in 2012, when the Jacks eliminated the Bobcats from the Southland Conference Championship. The upcoming series marks the second-straight weekend that TXST will host a winless Southland Conference opponent.
