SAN MARCOS, Texas – With a thrilling overtime victory last Sunday against Appalachian State, the Texas State soccer team will remain at home this weekend for a pair of matches against South Alabama and Troy. The Bobcats take on the Jaguars Friday evening with a kick-off time scheduled for 7 p.m. On Sunday, Texas State will begin play against Troy at 1 p.m.

th conference victory.
Two weeks ago against Arkansas State, senior forward
Tori Hale recorded her 17
th career assist which ties the program career record that was previously set by Britney Curry, the older sister of current forward
Lynsey Curry.
Curry leads the conference after week two of conference play with three goals, one assist, and seven points.
A Look At The Competition – South AlabamaSouth Alabama is one of three teams in the Sun Belt Conference that has eclipsed the 10-game win mark and one of three remaining undefeated teams left in the league. . The Jaguars are 2-0-1 in conference play after picking up the tie against UL Lafayette.
Charde Hannah leads the Jaguars with a team-high 13 goals and six assists.
Sarah Hay has put in the majority of the time in the net for South Alabama, recording just under 850 minutes of action. She has allowed just nine goals this season and owns a .830 save percentage.
Prior to the start of the season, the Jaguars were picked to win the Sun Belt Conference.
Last season, in the Bobcats inaugural season as part of the Sun Belt Conference, Texas State and South Alabama tied in Mobile, Ala. The Jaguars were up 2-0 until Curry cut the lead in half with a goal in the 20th minute.
In the 85th minute of the contest,
Maddie Nichols tied up the game with a pass from Curry.
A Look At The Competition – TroyThe Troy Trojans own a 10-3-0 overall record and 2-1 mark in conference play. The lone defeat in SBC competition was against South Alabama in the first conference game of the season.
Alissa Jones leads the Trojans in goals with eight and assists with six. Annabell Simpson also has recorded six assists this season.
Mikki Lewis has put in just shy of 1,100 minutes in goal for the Trojans and has allowed just 11 goals all season. She has a 0.92 goals against average and a .766 save percentage.
In the 2013 conference tournament, the Bobcats defeated the Trojans in overtime to move on to the semi-final match.
