Freshman Francesca Bernes sat down with TxStateBobcats.com for the ninth installment in 2012 of a weekly Q&A with student-athletes from every sport. Bernes was a doubles finalist at the 2010 South Africa National Women's Open Championship.

What are your favorite classes at Texas State?

Math and Psychology.

What is your favorite restaurant?

Which Wich! They have the best sandwiches ever!

What is the best thing about your team?

I love the support on the team. We constantly encourage each other during practice and motivate each other during matches.

How do you prepare yourself before a match?

I listen to motivational music and remember what my dad has said to me since he is my greatest supporter.

What are your favorite movies?

Moneyball and The Blind Side.

Who is your favorite professional athlete?

Novak Djokovic
