San Marcos, Texas - The Texas State soccer team plays its second of six straight home games on Friday against Houston Baptist. The Bobcats will play two this weekend, with Grambling coming to town on Sunday afternoon.

Last Friday Texas State won its second straight overtime contest, beating future WAC opponent, La. Tech, 1-0 in overtime. It was Texas State's third shutout of the season.

Houston Baptist enters the game with a record of 5-5. Of their 10 games, five have been played against Southland Conference opponents. The Huskies have a record of 3-2 against SLC competition.

Grambling enters play this weekend, looking for its first win of the season. The Tigers have been outscored 43-2 in their seven contests thus far. They have also played four Southland schools, and have been outscored 24-0 during those matchups.
