Baltimore, Md. – The Texas State soccer team had its game against UMBC cancelled due to inclement conditions as a result of Hurricane Irene blowing through the Baltimore area.

This morning UMBC administrators observed the field and found it to be without power and there was debris on the field that rendered the playing surface unfit for play. The game will not be rescheduled.

Texas State will return to action on Friday, Sept. 2, at the Bobcat Soccer Complex, when TCU comes calling at 7:00 p.m.
