Annapolis, Md. – The Texas State soccer team dropped its second straight, falling 3-0 to Navy in Annapolis Friday night.
Navy piled on the offense early, scoring two goals in the first half, before putting in its last in the 82nd minute. Three different Midshipmen scored each of the goals, who as a team fired 18 shots towards the Bobcat net.
Offensively for Texas State, Katie Herrick led the team in shots with three, two of which were on goal. Senior forward Erica Michaud also had two shots be on goal for the Bobcats.
Texas State will next be in action on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. (ET) at UMBC in Baltimore. As of now the game is scheduled to be played on time. Should there be a change due to weather, Txstatebobcats.com will have the updated information.
