San Marcos, Texas – The Texas State soccer team travels to the east coast this weekend for a matchup on Friday against Navy before meeting UMBC on Sunday. Texas State is 1-0 all time against Navy while Sunday will mark the first meeting between the Bobcats and UMBC.

Last week Texas State went 1-1 against Prairie View A&M and Loyola Marymount. For her efforts against both schools, Lauren Frazier earned Southland Conference Goalkeeper of the Week honors for the second time in her career. She shutout Prairie View, while holding Loyola Marymount to just one goal.

Following the trip the Bobcats return home for eight of their next nine games, beginning Friday Sept. 2 against TCU.
