– The Texas State women's soccer team fell to Loyola Marymount University in 1-0 game Sunday evening at the Bobcat Soccer Complex.

The entire match was a strong defensive battle, with the Bobcats limiting the Lions to just one goal on 13 attempts.

The lone goal of the game came in the 29th minute when Cori McGovern sent a shot from the top of the 18 yard box into the upper right corner of the goal just above Lauren Frazier.

The second came in the second half when Erica Michaud stole a pass, then passed off to Curry who also had her shot go wide.

Frazier had a strong game in goal, making four saves, to help keep the deficit at one. She made a diving save, sprawling to her left, on a shot from close range from the foot of Lion forward Tawni Martino in the final minutes of the game.
