Frisco, Texas – Tickets are now on sale for the 2011 Southland Conference Baseball Tournament, which will be hosted by Texas State at Bobcat Ballpark in San Marcos, May 25-28.
The best value is the all-tournament reserved pass for $50, which allows entry into all 15 possible games of the tournament. The youth all-tournament reserved pass and the all-tournament general admission pass are $45 each.
Tickets will also be available for each day of the tournament for $15, while a single-day general admission ticket is $12, the same price as single-day youth reserved ticket. All single-day tickets will go on sale Monday, May 16 at 8 a.m.
The double-elimination tournament will include the conference's top eight teams. Each team will be placed into two brackets with the two bracket winners meeting in the winner-take-all championship game Saturday, May 28, at 6:05 p.m. The winner of the tournament will receive the Southland Conference's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.
There will be a minimum of 13 games played during the four-day tournament. Game times the first three days of the tournament are 9 a.m., noon, 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Up to three games could be played Saturday, with the championship set for 6 p.m.
