Texas State swept through the three doubles matches to win the doubles team point as Jessica Kahts and Melissa Hadad teamed to win the top match 8-6 over Allison Hartman and Sasha Ruocco. In the number-two match, Gabriela Rojas and Bérénice Van Den Bergh defeated Kazumi Otani and Simona Horsikyan 8-2, while Jessica Laing and Mariana Perez combined to the number-three match over Alex Rios and Maribelle Siegfried 8-3.  

Texas State also won all six singles matches for six more team points. Kahts defeated Horsikyan 4-6, 6-1, 6-4 in the top match. Hadad won the number-two match 6-2, 6-4 over Ruocco, and Rojas defeated Otani 6-2, 6-3 in the number-three match.  

Laing defeated Hartman 6-4, 6-1 in the number-four match, while Perez won her number-five match 6-1, 6-2 over Rios after Van Den Bergh beat Siegfried 6-1, 6-1 in the number-six match.  

With the victory, the Bobcats improved their record to 4-2 overall and 1-0 in SLC play. Texas State's next match is on Saturday, March 12, when the Bobcats play host to Lamar at the Bobcat Tennis Center. Texas State also plays host to McNeese State on Sunday, March 13. Both matches begin at 10:00 a.m.
