 Natchitoches, La. - The Texas State soccer team goes for its fifth Southland Conference Tournament Championship and a bid to the NCAA Tournament on Sunday when it faces off against Stephen F. Austin, in a meeting of the top two seeds of the SLC Tournament.  
  
 The two teams owned a combined Southland Conference record of 17-1-0 during the regular season. Their one meeting this year, in San Marcos, was a 1-0 decision, with SFA's goal coming with 23 seconds left in regulation on a loose ball in the box kicked in by Kylie Louw.
  
 On Friday night, Texas State earned a bid in the SLC Championship game after beating Sam Houston State in a shootout 3-1. The game was tied at 1-1 after double overtime. The Bearkats took a 1-0 lead in the 79th minute, before Serena Hines responded for the Bobcats, just two minutes later, tying the game at 1-1. Texas State owned a 16-3 shot advantage for the game.
  
 Stephen F. Austin beat UTSA on Friday in its semifinal game, 2-0. Melissa Gaudet scored the game's first goal on a free kick from 25 yards out and Janae Lee converted on a 2-on-1 opportunity later in the second half, to secure the victory. For the Lady Jacks it was their 13th shutout of the season.
  
 Fans wanting to watch the game in the San Marcos area can tune into either Grande Channel 25, or Time Warner's YNN Sports at 1 p.m., Sunday, as the Bobcats go for their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2008. A full list of 22 affiliates can be found at southland.org/television.
