Game Notes

San Marcos, Texas – The Texas State soccer team looks to secure a first round bye in next week's Southland Conference Tournament, by winning at least one game this weekend. With a win, the Bobcats would extend their streak of 12-win seasons to four.

Last weekend Texas State went 2-0, defeating McNeese 2-1, and Lamar 2-0 on Senior Day. Kendell Webber led the Bobcats on Senior Day with a goal and an assist in her final home game in San Marcos.

Southeastern Louisiana enters Friday's play 4-3 in conference games.  The Lions went 8-2-1 in non conference games, before having a difficult stretch in SLC play.

Nicholls also has had a difficult time in SLC play after finishing the non conference schedule with five straight wins. Molly Mersereau has been busy in goal, with 37 saves in conference play, ranked fourth among SLC goalkeepers.
