San Marcos, Texas - After spending the first two weeks of the season on the road, the Texas State women's soccer team will open its 2010 home slate this weekend, playing host to UC Riverside and Navy. Friday night's game against the Highlanders is set for 7 p.m., while Sunday's weekend finale will begin at 1 p.m.

Scouting Texas State
The Bobcats (1-2-0) are coming off a 1-1 weekend in El Paso at the UTEP Miner's Classic. Texas State opened with a 1-0 victory over Utah Valley before falling in overtime to Fresno State, 1-0. Newcomer Lauren Frazier recorded 14 saves in the pair of games and earned her first shutout, warding off 29 shots. Offensively, Britney Curry notched the team's lone goal of the season, scoring in the 70th minute against UVU to aid the Bobcats first win.
Scouting UC Riverside
UC Riverside (0-2-0) enters the weekend on a two-game losing streak after dropping consecutive 1-0 decisions to UNLV and Seattle in its opening weekend of game. Goalkeeper Jessica White has recorded 13 saves and posts a1.00 goals against average.
Scouting Navy
Navy (2-1-1) will head to San Marcos on a two-game winning streak after taking 1-0 victories against Mount St. Mary's and George Mason. Ashlynn Soellner, Christine Calderon and Katelyn George lead the team with four points each. Soellner and Calderon have each scored a pair of goals for the Mids this season.
