SAN MARCOS, Texas— Senior Ireland Simme earned All-Sun Belt Conference Second Team Singles honors, as announced by the Sun Belt Conference following the 2025–26 season.

Simme delivered a standout campaign in singles play, compiling a 15–2 overall record while competing primarily across the No. 2 through No. 4 positions in the lineup.

 The senior highlighted her season with a 13-match win streak, consistently providing a reliable point for the Bobcats in both conference and nonconference play.

Throughout the spring, Simme showcased her versatility and composure, earning victories against a range of opponents while helping anchor Texas State's lineup. 

Her success in the middle courts played a key role in the program's strong regular season, including an undefeated mark at home.

Simme also earned Sun Belt Women's Tennis Player of the Week honors during week three of the season, further highlighting her impact in the lineup.

The recognition marks Simme's first All-Sun Belt singles honor and adds to an already impressive season that established her as one of the conference's most consistent performers.
