SPOKANE, Wash. — Texas State women's tennis wrapped up competition at the Pac-12 Qualifier on Sunday at the Stevens Center, with Charlotte Roesch and Kim Kuehbauer advancing to the women's doubles final and securing a spot in the ITA Conference Masters.

Roesch and Keuhbauer highlighted the weekend for the Bobcats, winning their first two matches to reach the championship match.

"Overall, I think it was a really great weekend for us to come out and get a taste of what Pac-12 tennis will be like," head coach Kendall Brooks said. "Really proud of Charlotte and Kim for the way they played and putting themselves in a position to win the whole thing. They are a very strong team and have just started to find their mojo together, so I'm excited to see what they can do moving forward."

The duo opened play Friday against Utah State's Mikva Terezia and Sabina Pintea, edging the Aggies in a 7-6 (7) tiebreaker. On Saturday, Roesch and Kuehbauer defeated Boise State's Tereza Polakova and Paula Schaefer 6-4, 6-4 in the semifinals to advance to the final.

In Sunday's championship match, Roesch and Kuehbauer faced San Diego State's Tea Lukic and Constanza Fernandez Rincon, falling 6-3, 6-4. Despite the loss, the Bobcats secured qualification for the ITA Conference Masters, scheduled for Nov. 5-8 in Rome, Georgia.
