Last week saw the Bobcats win three of their five games that included a victory over then 18th-ranked Texas A&M, SFA and one in the series against Troy. During the homestand, the team has compiled a 5-3 record to improve to 18-6 at home.

Rashawn Galloway enters the week hitting .370 with a team-high 57 base knocks, 18 doubles and three triples. He has also scored 35 runs, driven in 34 and hit six home runs.

Coming off a week that saw him hit five homers and post 17 RBI is
Jaquae Stewart. He shares the team lead of 12 long balls with
Dawson Park while batting .306 with 42 RBI. Park comes in with a team leading 47 RBI while hitting .324. Also leaving the yard at least 10 times this year is
Jackson Cotton (11 HR, 40 R) and
Manny Salas (10 HR, 40 R, 31 RBI).

Despite playing in just 18 games,
Ethan Farris has smacked eight home runs, plated 25 runs and scored 21 times. The redshirt sophomore sports a 1.306 OPS and a .379 batting average.

Slated to make his second start of the season on the rubber is
Titan Targac. The left-hander is 1-3 with one save, an 8.36 ERA and 15 strikeouts in 14.0 innings spanning 11 games.

ABOUT HCU
The Huskies are coming off a series win on the road at Northwestern State this past weekend. They are 8-11 away from home, 3-5 in midweek games and 1-3 in midweek contests on the road.

Jack Walker leads the team with a .341 batting average, 44, hits, 31 runs and 26 RBI. His four homers are tied for the second most on the team with Preston Curtis (.246, 23 RBI) and Katcher Halligan (.264, 24 RBI). A team-high five round trippers have come off the bat of Tyree Jackson, who has also driven in 25 runs and is 10-for-12 stealing bases.

Right-hander Remy Marsh is scheduled to take the rubber on Tuesday. He has appeared in five games, thrown 5.0 innings and struck out five while sporting a 9.00 ERA and has yet to receive a decision.

SERIES VS. HUSKIES
Texas State leads the all-time series 19-1 and has won the last three meetings that have all taken place in San Marcos. The Bobcats are 15-0 all-time when hosting HCU with last season's matchup ending 9-3. The lone loss in the series for TXST came by the score of 7-5 on the road on Feb. 19, 2020.
