SAN MARCOS, Texas – Head coach Steven Trout announced the 2027 baseball schedule on Tuesday, highlighted by the program's inaugural season in the Pac-12 Conference. Irvine-Rasmussen Ballpark is set to host 33 of the Bobcats' 56 games.

Coming off an at-large bid and the program's seventh NCAA Regional appearance last season and second under Coach Trout, Texas State will open the 2027 campaign at home for the 17th consecutive year. The Bobcats welcome Oakland to San Marcos for a three-game series (Feb. 19-21), marking the first meeting between the two programs.

The Bobcats' first midweek matchup will take place at Riders Field, home of the Texas Rangers Double-A affiliate Frisco RoughRiders, against Oklahoma State on Feb. 24. Texas State heads to the previously announced Round Rock Classic at Dell Diamond, where it will face Texas Tech (Feb. 26), Alabama (Feb. 27) and Louisiana Tech (Feb. 28).

Texas State returns home for a six-game homestand featuring a pair of midweek matchups and a weekend series. Prairie View A&M visits Irvine-Rasmussen on March 2, followed by Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (March 3). Army comes to San Marcos for a three-game series March 5-7, and Baylor closes out the homestand on March 9 in the first of two meetings between the Bobcats and Bears during the 2027 season.

Last season, Texas State hosted Gonzaga in a non-conference series as the Bobcats prepared for their move to the Pac-12, winning the rubber game 5-0. Now conference opponents for the first time in history, the Zags will return to San Marcos for the Bobcats' inaugural Pac-12 Conference series (April 9-11).

The Bobcats head down I-35 to complete the home-and-home series with UTSA (April 13) before making their first-ever trip to San Diego State (April 16-18), while the series marks the first meeting between the programs since 1999.
