The Bobcats have dropped four straight contests after the Sun Belt Conference opening series. They are 3-4 when playing away from San Marcos but are winless in true road games. Tuesday will be the first of four consecutive games this week against ranked opponents.

Texas A&M leads the all-time series 49-15. Last season, Texas State won 7-3 in College Station to upset the then No. 1 ranked Aggies. It was the Bobcats' first win in the series since 2019.

When playing in College Station, TXST is 10-33 all-time. Texas State hasn't won back-to-back games over Texas A&M since 2006 when it won a contest in College State and Round Rock that year.
