Bobcats Post Strong Opening Weekend at Ted Nelson Invitational

COLLEGE STATION, Texas— Texas State track and field wrapped up competition Saturday at the Ted Nelson Invitational, hosted by Texas A&M, opening the indoor season with strong performances across two days.

The Bobcats recorded 35 top-10 finishes, two event wins and multiple record-book marks at the R.A. "Murray" Fasken '38 Indoor Track & Field Facility.

Texas State was led by first-place finishes from senior Melanie Duron and freshman Tshephang Dankuru, along with a school record from Abigail Parra and several all-time performances.
