SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State women's basketball and Head Coach
Zenarae Antoine announced the team's 2025-26 non-conference schedule on Wednesday. The schedule features six non-conference home games in Strahan Arena this fall.

The Texas State Bobcats will open the 2025-26 regular season on Monday, Nov. 3 with a previously announced date with the Ohio Bobcats. This game will serve as the first round of the third year of the MAC-SBC Challenge. Texas State will wait to find out its opponent of the second round of the challenge. That game will be played on Feb. 7 at the team's final non-conference game of the season.
The team will go to two in-state foes after opening the season at home. The first road game of the year will be at Big 12 foe Texas Tech on Nov. 9. The team will then head down to San Antonio for the I-35 battle versus UTSA on Nov. 13.
The Bobcats will host UTRGV on Nov. 17 for a rematch after the Bobcats road win in Edinburg last season.
Texas State will then host two more in-state foes in Strahan Arena. Starting on Nov. 25, the Bobcats will host the Tarleton State Texans, followed by Prairie View A&M on Nov. 30.
Texas State will then go to Stephen F. Austin on Dec. 6 for a rematch of the 2023 WNIT Tournament first round. Texas State has not played in Nacogdoches since the two team's postseason meeting.
Texas State will then return home for the first game of a four-game homestand, starting with UNT-Dallas on Dec. 10. The team will play two Sun Belt games against Louisiana and ULM before closing out the non-conference schedule on Dec. 29. Texas State will host Huston-Tillotson on Dec. 29 as its final non-conference game, apart from February's MAC-SBC Challenge matchup.
