SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State women's basketball, head coach Zenarae Antoine, and the Sun Belt Conference announced the Bobcats 2025-26 conference schedule on Thursday morning.
The conference previously announced dates for the MAC-SBC Challenge, which is what the Bobcats will start the year in on Nov. 3. That game will be in Strahan Arena vs the Ohio Bobcats at 7 pm. Texas State is 3-1 all-time in the MAC-SBC Challenge as it enters its third season.
From there, the team will open its full Sun Belt slate ahead on Dec. 17 at home against Louisiana and will see ULM on Dec. 20 before the holiday.
The Bobcats will start the new year with its first-ever trip to James Madison on Jan. 3, followed by a trip to Troy on Jan. 7 and Louisiana on Jan. 10.
Texas State will play its lone multiple weekend home stand of conference play with four-straight home games. They'll host Southern Miss on Jan. 14 and Troy on Jan. 17. App State will come to Strahan Arena on Jan. 21 and Old Dominion on Jan. 24.
Texas State will close January on the road at Coastal Carolina on Jan. 28 and Georgia State on Jan. 31.
February will start with a game vs Georgia Southern on the 4th, followed by a to be announced date at a MAC opponent on Feb. 7. The opponents for the second half of the MAC-SBC Challenge will be announced in January and be based on team NET rankings.
After that, Texas State will return to Sun Belt action at South Alabama on Feb. 12 and at Southern Miss on Feb. 14.
To close out the home slate, Texas State will host Arkansas State on Feb. 18 and South Alabama will be Feb. 21.
Texas State finishes the season with five of their final seven games on the road, including the last trip of the season to ULM on Feb. 25 and Arkansas State on Feb. 27.
The 2025-26 Sun Belt Conference Tournament will be in Pensacola, Fla., on March 3-9.
