SAN MARCOS, Texas – For the fourth time this season, Texas State track and field athletes earned Sun Belt Conference weekly honors.

Lara Roberts and
Abigail Parra all earned SBC weekly honors after their performances in California, the conference announced Wednesday.
Texas State track and field has had an athlete earn SBC weekly honors after each meet it has competed in this season.
Drew Donley | SBC Men's Track Athlete of the Week
After his performance in the 100m and 200m at the Mt. SAC Relays, Donley earned his second SBC Men's Track Athlete of the Week honor of the season.
In the elite division of the men's 100m, Donley broke the school record with a wind-legal time of 10.26 and placed seventh overall.
Donley now holds both the wind-legal and all-condition school records for the event and sits ranked first in the SBC and 16th in the NCAA West Region.
He also placed first in the 200m with a time of 20.51 (+2.9 m/s). His time ranks him first in the SBC, fourth in the NCAA West Region and fourth in the NCAA.
Lara Roberts | Women's Field Athlete of the Week
Roberts recorded the NCAA-leading mark in the women's hammer throw twice during her competitions in California.
At the Pacific Coast Invitational on Thursday, Roberts placed first and recorded the No. 1 mark in the NCAA with a throw of 70.34m. Her mark was the ninth-best throw in TXST history and was the only mark in the NCAA over 70 meters at the time.
On Saturday at the Mt. SAC Relays, Roberts improved on her NCAA-leading mark with a throw of 70.97m. She placed second in the event behind Olympic champion Camryn Rogers and became the only athlete in the NCAA with multiple throws beyond 70 meters this season.
Her mark of 70.97 meters is the sixth-best throw in TXST history.
Abigail Parra | Women's Track Athlete of the Week
In the invitational section of the women's 1500m at the Bryan Clay Invitational, Parra set a PR and broke her own school record in the event when she recorded a time of 4:18.87. Her time bested her previous PR of 4:24.27 by nearly six seconds.
After her record-setting performance, Parra sits ranked first in the SBC for the event and 44th in the NCAA West Region.
