Bobcats Continue Historic Season With a Pair of Road Matches

The Bobcats will face Southern Miss on Saturday and South Alabama on Sunday. Both matches will take place at 10 a.m. CT.

SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State women's tennis continues its historic season with a pair of road matches. The Bobcats will face Southern Miss on Saturday and South Alabama on Sunday. Both matches will take place at 10 a.m. CT.

Heading into the pair of weekend matches, TXST sits tied for second in the Sun Belt Conference with a 13-3 overall record and a 4-1 mark in SBC play.

The Bobcats are one win away from tying their program record of 14 wins and have a chance to break the record with victories over both Southern Miss and South Alabama.

The Bobcats' 4-1 start in conference play is their best since joining the SBC in 2014.

Southern Miss holds an overall record of 4-9 heading into the match with TXST and has a conference record of 0-6.
 
All four of the Golden Eagles' wins have been in home matches at the Southern Miss Tennis Complex.
