SAN MARCOS, Texas — Texas State women's basketball starts conference play in Strahan Arena this week, with games against Louisiana and ULM.

Texas State will start out with Louisiana on Dec. 17 at 5 pm, then the ULM Warhawks will come to town on Dec. 20 at 12 pm. Fans can purchase tickets at txst.com/tickets or tune in on ESPN+.

Both games will be part of doubleheaders with Texas State men's basketball who play Arkansas State on the 17
th and South Alabama on the 20

- The Freshmen: Texas State has added two freshmen, Angela Carroll and Kaliyah Murphy.
- The Transfers: Texas State has added seven transfers, including three Division I transfers.Â
- The Returners: Antoine returns four members from 2024-2025 to this year's team.
- Saniya Burks leads the returners for minutes played and points scored last year as she enters her sophomore season. She started the season with a nations-best 34 points against Ohio and has double digits in six of nine games so far this season.
- Taleiyah Gibbs played in 25 games for the Bobcats last season off the bench and returns for her junior season as well.
- Also returning are Mia Galbraith who missed the year with an ACL injury, and Takeira Ramey who missed the latter half of last season with an ACL injury.
