Texas State Announces Inaugural Pac-12 Women's Basketball Conference Schedule

SAN MARCOS, Texas – The long-awaited inaugural Pac-12 women's basketball conference schedule has arrived as Texas State Women's Basketball learned of their league slate on Friday.

The 16-game conference slate tips off at home against Boise State for Texas State's first-ever Pac-12 contest on Jan. 6 after a 17-game non-conference schedule spanning four states and consisting of teams from 10 different conferences.

The Pac-12 schedule features an even eight-and-eight schedule for home and away games. Eight of the 16 games will be on a Wednesday, four will be on a Saturday, and the remaining four will be on a Sunday.

Of the nine total teams in the Pac-12, Texas State will see Boise State, Gonzaga, and Washington State for the first time in program history. Texas State is currently 3-8 all-time against Pac-12 opponents.

Texas State kicks off its inaugural conference schedule with a home game against Boise State on Jan. 6 for the first-ever matchup between the two squads. Just three days later, the Bobcats head to Pullman, Wash., to take on Washington State on Jan. 9 where the two programs will meet on the floor for the first time in program history.

The Bobcats continue their stay in Washington with a first-time game against the reigning WCC tournament champions, Gonzaga, on Jan. 13. A week later, Texas State returns to Strahan Arena to host Fresno State for only the second time in program history and will play the Bulldogs for the first time in almost nine years. Fresno State is also the most recent Pac-12 opponent the Bobcats have played, with the last game between the two coming on Nov. 25, 2017.

For the first time in almost 30 years, San Diego State and Texas State will tipoff in San Marcos for a conference matchup slated for Jan. 24. The last game between the two squads was on Dec. 28, 1996.

On Jan. 27, the Bobcats head to Fort Collins, Colo., to take on the Colorado State Rams. The matchup between the two teams will mark the fifth game in program history, the most of any matchups against Pac-12 opponents. Washington State then heads to San Marcos, Texas, for the first time in program history on Jan. 31 to round out the schedule in the first month of the year.

February kicks off with back-to-back away games at Utah State on Feb. 3 and Boise State on Feb. 6. The Bobcats will look to earn their first win against the Aggies as Texas State is currently 0-3 all-time against Utah State.

The Bobcats return home during the second week of the month with a pair of games against Colorado State and Oregon State on Feb. 10 and Feb. 13, respectively.

Texas State will head to Fresno, Calif., for the first time in program history on Feb. 17 for a matchup against the Bulldogs and then will return home three days later to host the Aggies of Utah State.

On Feb. 28, the Bobcats will head to Corvallis, Ore., for the first time ever to take on the Oregon State Beavers and wrap up their February slate.

The final two regular season games of the 2026-2027 season will be on March 3 and March 6 as Texas State hosts Gonzaga on March and plays their final regular season Pac-12 game against San Diego State in San Diego, California.

The conference season concludes at the Pac-12 Women's Basketball Tournament at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nev., from March 9-13.

Tip off times and broadcast information for all games, including non-conference home contests, will be announced at a later date ahead of the start of the season.
