Texas State Women’s Tennis to Host States Up Slam to Close Fall Season

SAN MARCOS, Texas Texas State women's tennis is hosting the States Up Slam this weekend for its final tournament of the fall season. The tournament will be held Nov. 1-2 at the Bobcat Tennis Complex.

The States Up Slam will feature five teams in the two-day tournament: Texas State, Sam Houston State, UT-Arlington, St. Mary's and UTSA.

Matches will start at 9 a.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. Saturday will consist of one round of doubles and two rounds of singles, while Sunday will feature two rounds of doubles and one round of singles.

The tournament will follow a round-robin draws format for both singles and doubles.

For the Bobcats, there will be eight players competing in the tournament: Olivia Collins, Stoney Cooks, Chantajah Mills, Emily Niers, Anastasia Radovanovic, Julia Richardet, Charlotte Roesch and Ireland Simme.

Tadiwa Mauchi and Zoe Du Pasquier Jensen will not compete this weekend.

Live results will not be available for this weekend's matches; however, results will be posted at the end of the tournament on the women's tennis schedule page.
