SAN MARCOS, TEXAS – Texas State women's tennis continues conference play with a pair of road matches against nationally-ranked No. 68 Old Dominion on Saturday and James Madison on Sunday. Both matches will begin at 10 a.m. and the match versus JMU will be played on their indoor court due to weather concerns.

This will be the Bobcats' first matchup of the year against a nationally ranked opponent.

The Bobcats' (8-2, 2-0 Sun Belt) winning streak grew to eight for the first time since 2012 after earning their first win over Coastal Carolina in program history. Texas State defeated Coastal 4-3 in a match that came down to the last set of singles.

Sofia Fortuno secured the match point for the Bobcats in a match that came down to the third set. Fortuno dropped the first set 6-4 but battled back to win the last two sets 7-6 (7-5) and 6-3.

Andrea Pineda recorded her eighth win in a row on Saturday and moved to 8-1 on the year and 2-0 in conference on court five.
