WHAT THEY'RE SAYING …
Angela Carroll
Head Coach Zenarae Antoine: " We are thrilled to add Angela to our Bobcat program. Her length, athleticism & winning resume will have immediate impact at her position."
Waco United Director/17U Head Coach Antwon Gude: "Angela is a very versatile player. She can play multiple positions at an elite level. She can play back to the rim moves, block shots, rebounds and can score. She helped La Vega High School win Back 2 Back state championships in 2022-23 and 2023-24. She is planning on closing out her high school career with a 3rd state championship run. She's a proven winner and loves the have the ball in her hands. It has been a joy to watch her blossom into the great player that she is over the years. Angela will be an excellent addition to the Bobcat Family."
La Vega Girl's Basketball Head Coach Marcus Willis: "AC is a force to be reckoned with. She's a 6'2 forward who can rebound, run the floor, defend on the perimeter and score at will. Her post moves are electric! Additional accolades include Super CenTex, All-District, All-Region, All-Academic, Back to Back State Champion! Angela knows what it takes to win. She's a big competitor and a great teammate. AC has a drive and motor that never gives up. She was a big factor in the back-to-back state championship run for La Vega High school. Life isn't fair, and you're gonna fail often, but if you take risk your reward will be greater. Go Be Great AC!
La Vega Assistant Track & Football Coach David Bryant: "Angela is a true, driven competitor. Ever since Angela ran hurdles and did high jump for me her freshman year of high school, I knew that she was going to be special athlete. It didn't take her long to compete for regionals and a chance at competing at state. The team follows her and ride with her whether it's on the track, on the court, or in the hallways of La Vega High School. I'm excited for her journey as a collegiate basketball student athlete. I really hope that Angela is surrounded by people who love her and will push her to her full potential."
Kaliyah Murphy
Head Coach Zenarae Antoine: " We are excited to bring Kaliyah to Bobcat Country. Kaliyah's work ethic and positive mentality is reflected both on the court and in the classroom."
Head Coach of Elevate Elite Bruno Corras: "Kaliyah Murphy is a coach's dream. She does everything you ask of her. She brings energy in the game and off the court. Never complains and always does the little things that matter. I have loved coaching Murphy and watching her grow over the years. I can't wait to see what she does at the next level. She's a special kid!"
