SAN MARCOS, Texas – The 2025 Texas State baseball schedule was announced on Monday by head coach Steven Trout. For the third time in four years, the Bobcats will play more than 30 games at Bobcat Ballpark with 31 on tap during the 56-game slate.

Of the 22 games that TXST will play against teams that competed in the 2024 NCAA Tournament, 16 of the contests will take place in San Marcos.

The Bobcats will open the season at home for the 15th consecutive year when they welcome Binghamton to town from Feb. 14-16. Following the previously announced game against Oklahoma State that will be played at Globe Life Field, Texas State is back home the following weekend to host Illinois for the first meeting between the programs since 2008.

A midweek game at national runners-up Texas A&M takes place on Feb. 25. The Bobcats will then host its third straight weekend series to wrap up the month of February and start off March when Grand Canyon comes to town.

Seven of the next eight games are on the road with a Tuesday game at Incarnate Word and the team's first-ever trip to Campbell to wrap up non-conference weekend action. Big XII power TCU is in town on Mar. 11 for the only home game during the stretch. Texas State starts off Sun Belt Conference action the weekend of Mar. 14-16 at App State.

The Bobcats take on another Big XII foe a week after facing the Horned Frogs when Baylor comes to town before the first home conference series against Arkansas State. On Mar. 25, TXST takes on rival UTSA in San Antonio and then host fellow Alamo City program Incarnate Word the next day.

A tough stretch ensues over the next three weeks. First up is a weekend series against Coastal Carolina to close out March while April begins at Texas as the Bobcats go for their fourth consecutive win in Austin over the Longhorns. Texas State will head to Louisiana for a weekend series with the Ragin' Cajuns, the 2024 Sun Belt regular season champions, and then face Baylor in Waco on Apr. 8. The stretch ends with a home series versus Southern Miss.

The back half of April sees Texas State host Houston Christian, Tarleton State, Texas and UTSA in midweek action while the last two weekends of the month are road trips to South Alabama (Apr. 17-19) and Troy (Apr. 25-27).
