ORLANDO, Fla. – Texas State cheer finished seventh in the nation in Small Coed Division IA as the Bobcats competed at the UCA College Nationals at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando over the weekend.

The Bobcats, who were making their return to nationals in coed in over a decade, advanced out of the semifinals before taking the top-seven finish in the finals with an event score of 76.6 points.

This year marked the first time in 13 years that Texas State had a coed team compete at nationals in the traditional division.

The Bobcats also placed 13th in the country in the All Girl Division IA after reaching the semifinals.
