SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State athletic department will host a Black Out Bash on Wednesday, Jan. 17 at the Bobcats men's basketball game against Louisiana in Strahan Arena.
 
Along with being a Black Out game, the department will be celebrating the extraordinary seasons by the football and volleyball teams before the game and at halftime.
 
The first 600+ fans to the game will receive a black TXST shirt and there will be an in-game "black out" party with light sticks and balloons for the fans, accompanied by our DJ.
 
Prior to the contest, there will be an autograph session with select members of the football and volleyball teams. Fans will also be offered several photo opportunities including a photo with the SERVPRO First Responder Bowl trophy. Cake and cupcakes are going to be available for free while supplies last and there will be a raffle of bowl game and volleyball items with the winners announced at halftime following the programs' recognitions.
 
Tickets for the game can be purchased at the TXST Athletic Ticket Office located at Bobcat Stadium, by calling the office at 512-245-2272, at TXST.com/Tickets and at the Strahan Arena box office window prior to the game.
