SAN MARCOS, Texas – A record 28 Texas State baseball home games, beginning with Opening Day on February 17, will be broadcast on ESPN+ while two other games will air exclusively on KTSW 89.9 FM as Texas State Athletics announced its home TV and radio schedule for the 2023 season on Thursday.
 
Four Sun Belt Conference series will be carried on ESPN+ in their entirety along with key games against in-state foes Sam Houston, TCU, Texas and UTSA.
 
The first two games of the series against Georgia State (May 5-6) will air solely on KTSW 89.9 FM. Seven other home games will be broadcast on radio along with five radio contests.
 
Only home games to not be broadcast on either ESPN+ or KTSW are the second game of the Northwestern series on Feb. 18 and the opening game versus Oral Roberts on Feb. 24.
 
For the fourth year, the broadcast crew on ESPN+ will be Brant Freeman (play-by-play) and former Bobcat head coach Ty Harrington (analyst).
 
The TV schedule for Texas State road games will be announced by the host schools at a later date and included on the schedule page when available.
